The Jatayu Gurukul is a center of traditional wisdom and holistic education, inspired by the timeless values of India’s ancient Gurukul system. Located in the peaceful surroundings of Village Tamaspura (Barani), on Chhuchakwas to Jhajjar Road, Jhajjar, Haryana, our Gurukul provides an ideal environment for learning, discipline, and character building.
At Jatayu Gurukul, we believe that true education goes beyond books. Our approach focuses on moral values, spiritual awareness, physical fitness, and intellectual growth, nurturing students to become responsible, confident, and compassionate individuals. गुरूकुल शिक्षा पद्धति एक विचारधारा है जो वैदिक काल से अवतरित है। जो हमारे ऋषि मुनियों का अमूल्य उपहार है। हमें अमूल्य उपहार प्राप्त तो हो जाते है, लेकिन उन्हें जीवित रखना आज की विपरीत परिस्थियों में समाज के लिए चुनौतिपूर्ण लक्ष्य बन गया है। महर्षि देव दयानन्द सरस्वती जी ने 1875 ई0 में आर्य समाज की स्थापना करके समाज को वैदिक विचारधारा से जीवन जीना सिखाया। ऋषि के अनन्य भक्त मुन्शीराम एडवोकेट ने महर्षि दयानन्द सरस्वती एवं आर्य समाज की विचार धारा से प्रभावित होकर सर्वस्व त्याग कर स्वामी श्रद्धानन्द जी के नाम से विख्यात् होकर विपरीत परिस्थितियों में जिस समय हमारा देश पराधीन था उस समय आर्य समाज पद्धति के माध्यम से सर्वप्रथम गुरूकुलों की स्थापना करके अपने दो बेटों सहित अनेक आर्य वीरों को शिक्षा उन्होंने प्रदान की, उसके बाद देशभर में आर्य समाज पद्धति से समाज एवं देश का विद्वत आर्य बन्धुओं द्वारा नेतृत्व हुआ। समाज में फैली हुई कुरीतियों, वाह्याडम्बरों, अन्ध विश्वासों को दूर करने में स्वामी जी का अनूठा योगदान रहा।
